Re-cladding the 25 Storey, 122m high Service Tower with photovoltaic (PV) panels creating the tallest solar façade in Europe, protecting the tower from the elements and enhancing its appearance. The solar panel system is designed to generate enough renewable electricity for 61 average 3 bed houses per annum.

Requirements

Ashworth Electrical carried out the full electrical installation of the PV System, including:

  • LV Mains distribution
  • Installation of Inverters
  • Installation of DC systems
  • Testing, installation and connection of each solar panel
  • Connections to the CIS Mains infrastructure
